There it was. My last class of my freshman year. Next step is just to slay my finals like Adam is slaying the bad guys in his video game right now....
This is how I feel:
You know it was a good semester when you walk out to your professor getting a standing ovation because he said "Thanks for putting up with me, it was my first course ever using powerpoint..."
Today is officially a good day. How am I going to pass my finals?

Last Few Weeks
Please do me a favor and listen to this song while you read this:
So, it has been a long little while... but I just felt like talking to no one on this fine May morning. Today marks the last week of classes of my freshman year of college. Bittersweet moment for sure... But that being said, this has honestly been one of the best years I can remember, and I didn't even realize it as it happened. I've made a lot of memories up here, and many more are to come.
Finals are right around the corner, and in all honesty I am not too worried at all. Not about finals, not about work, not about money. For these few moments I have this morning I don't have anything to be worried about. And that is an awesome feeling.
These next three weeks in Fort Collins are gonna be a lot of fun, like my good friend of mine once said, "it's better to burn out than fade away". I'm just kidding, Neil Young said that...
Bye now, have an awesome day like me.

2,000 Miles
I just couldn't stop myself from sharing this song with everyone.
I love the song, but I thought the video was put together perfectly. It makes it look like everyone is having an awesome time, and isn't that what we all want? I can already tell that this will probably be my theme song of the summer. I'm pretty excited...
That's about all I got. Give the video a watch or two. Or three.

Fort Collins, Colorado
"The lonelier the highway, the prettier the view. And the sooner it takes me home to you".
Dylan Owen is by far one of my favorite musical artists. He talks so much in his songs about how he has a story to tell, and he tells it well. So I decided to make this blog to tell my own story. And while it obviously won't be the most entertaining story, I believe that everyone's story is special in its own way. It's a pretty incredible world that we live in, full of incredible people, each with an incredible story. So I'm just putting this out here, and anyone that wants can check it out.
So I just wrapped up the first day of my second semester here at Colorado State University. It's already different moving from classes with 300 kids into classes with 40. One of my new professors has been teaching here over 40 years, and she obviously knows a think or two about the subject she teaches, even if she's not entirely up to date on all the technology that has been integrated into the university...
Each day that I'm up here I fall in love with Fort Collins a little bit more. Everywhere you look there is something that just makes you want to take a picture. Or I dunno... do something like that.... The point is it is a very beautiful place. Just the environment up here is so nice. The people are all super friendly, there are countless things to do with spare time, including the top ranked downtown in the country... Not to mention the thousands and thousands of different restaurants to choose from.... The point is, I really couldn't see myself going to school anywhere else.
Each time I sit down here and get in this mindframe I get all nostalgic and start thinking about the past, and the great life I've had so far. But that shouldn't be my focus. That shouldn't be anyone's focus. We should all just look forward to what is ahead. I can already tell there's a lot to look forward to. So looking forward..... I leave you today with the song the name of this blog comes from. Enjoy.
